Best Student Paper Prize 2015

Giorgio del Vecchio, who is studying at the Free University of Berlin, Germany, won the Best Student Paper Prize at the Society for Terrorism Research 9th Annual International Conference for his paper, “Political Violence as Shared Terrain of Militancy: Red Brigades, Social Movements and the Discourse on Arms in the Early Seventies.”

The Best Student Paper Prize promotes the work of postgraduate students throughout the world, in all disciplines, in the field of terrorism research. Giorgio’s paper will be published in STR’s peer reviewed journal Behavioral Sciences of Terrorism and Political Aggression in 2016.
